About

I’m Holly Keating, Interior Designer and founder of BLANKK STUDIO.

BLANKK is a Melbourne-based interior design studio working across residential, retail and commercial projects.

I’ve worked in the design industry for close to 20 years, from new builds and renovations to more layered design-led projects. While I naturally enjoy the creative challenge of projects that push a little outside the norm, I care just as much about creating environments that feel functional, comfortable and genuinely suited to the people using them.

I grew up in the Country but have spent most of my adult life in Melbourne, which probably explains why I naturally gravitate towards spaces that balance warmth with a bit of edge - environments that feel welcoming, personal and not overly polished or intimidating.

A big part of my approach is the relationship side of projects. The best outcomes usually come from honest conversations, trust and getting to know how people actually live, work or use a space, not just how they think it should look in photos.

I believe that good design should feel good to live with. It should reflect the people using it, function properly and feel like somewhere you actually want to spend time.
